#WajnbergBackToWarsaw is Mieczysław Wajnberg’s music in a modern version proposed by young talented soloists – flutist Antonina Styczeń and pianist Andrzej Karalow and the Polish Chamber Philharmonic under the baton of Wojciech Rajski.

Mieczysław Wajnberg (d. 1996) was a unique person. For some people, he was a Jew, for others Polish, Russian … During World War II, after escaping to Soviet Russia he was enthusiastically received in the world of musicians but remained undisclosed for the rest of the world. His music combines a variety of emotions and styles while being accessible to every listener.

#WajnbergBackToWarsaw is an attempt to present the silhouette of the controversial composer in the right light. It will be used for the premiere performance of his works recorded on the album “Mieczysław Wajnberg – works for flute”. It will be modern, emotional and expressive.
